Ronald Zubar joins Wolves |
| |
Wolves have signed defender Ronald Zubar from Marseilles on a four-year contract. The 23-year-old is the clubs sixth pre-season signing. He has played 72 league games and scored two goals in three seasons with Marseilles, and has also played for Caen. "Ronald is a quick, powerful defender who has played for the French [under-21s] and has got Champions League experience," McCarthy said. "He will prove a very valuable addition to the squad." Zubar is the latest in a series of players to move to Molineux in the past five days after Greg Halford, Kevin Doyle and Andrew Surman. They join earlier signings Marcus Hahnemann and Nenad Milijas as McCarthy tries to build a team to compete in the Premier League.
